Vinology: A study in fine wine bars

I spent a recent evening at Ann Arbor's fabulous new eatery/wine bar, Vinology. Located at 110 N. Main, this new hot spot offers fine digs to imbibe in, with a swank, but not hoity-toity, ambience -- there's even a wine store! In addition to a lengthy list of wines, Vinology offers martinis and other cocktails, a varied selection of tapas, and decadent-sounding entrees and desserts. I enjoyed a plate of fluffy beignets, and my companions dived into a satisfying plate of crispy calamari. Next visit, I'll be sure to try the mini-hamburgers -- many platters of which were flying out of the kitchen -- and the luscious Bellini martini!
